Healthy and Easy Homemade Yogurt without a Yogurt Maker

Did you know that you can make yogurt very easily, at home? All you need is a spoon of leftover yogurt, as a starter and warm milk.


It is recommended to boil the milk first. Then let it cool a little. Once it reaches 110°F to 115°F, it's time to add your starter. Stir to incorporate it and then leave the yogurt undisturbed in a warm oven for about 6 hours. Don’t touch it. It is absolutely necessary to keep it undisturbed and at a steady temperature (110°F to 115°F).


In the summertime when the weather is warm, you can just place it at room temperature for 24 hours. 


Once set, refrigerate and enjoy!
