We all need Vitamin D

Hope you are having a restful Sunday.

Did you know that about 85% of people have insufficient levels of vitamin D and are totally unaware of the deficiency?

Vitamin D deficiency is very serious and can actually lead to various diseases. If you are not able to get ample sunlight exposure, which is actually the main source of vitamin D, you must consider taking a high-quality vitamin D3 supplement.

Occasional exposure of your hands and face to the sun does not constitute appropriate sunlight exposure. To optimize your levels, large portions of your skin needs to be exposed to the sun.

It is said that the best time to expose yourself to the sun is around 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Expose yourself to direct sunlight between these times for a short period and you will have produced the most vitamin D3.

Don’t forget to protect the area around your eyes, as the skin located around the eyes is very thin and prone to photoaging and premature wrinkling. So wear a safe sun block or wear a cap to keep your eyes in the shade.

Hope this email reminds you about the key role of Vitamin D in Disease Prevention.
